Office of Academic Ethics and Research Integrity

The first-level administrative unit outside the establishment is supervised by the chief ethics officer and the vice president.
Set up a director to manage the business of the Office of Academic Ethics and Research Integrity.
Set up a deputy director to assist the director in promoting and supervising the business of the Office of Academic Ethics and Research Integrity.
Set up several full-time (part-time) staff and researchers to carry out business and research work.

The Academic and Research Integrity Committee

Set up a chairperson (concurrently as the convener).
Set up three ex-officio members: they are to be appointed by the Office of Research and Development, the Office of Academic Affairs, and the Office of Student Affairs which shall be at the level of deputy head or above of the first-level unit.
Set up six members: they are representatives of teachers from the academic fields of electrical engineering and computer science, biomedical sciences, and humanities and social sciences, and six teachers are selected by the president according to the field classification.
Set up one to three experts and academics with experience in handling academic ethics cases: they are nominated by the director of the Office of Academic Ethics and Research Integrity and appointed after approval by the president.
